a.k.a 808 is a sheer, brutal homage to all the dystopian cities, books, movies & universes that would define my future self, since my early teenager years.
Without knowing it, they all forged, shaped my visual spectrum, my unconscious interest for architecture, they helped me escape, they made me dream for years.
“808” is a non-hidden wink to Kawajiri’s early masterpiece OEDO808, filled with cityscapes, lonely wanderers and strange beasts.
